Moving Soon!
Dear friends,
My prayers were answered. I am moving to a place of my own. There are no words to describe how I feel; I am over the moon.
This unexpected, exciting move has prompted me to think about whether or not I should move this blog to merge with my Wordpress blog. It simply makes no sense having two personal blogs. I've chosen Wordpress because I've found it to be a fantastic blogging flatform. Not only does it work consistently well, but it has quickly expanded my readership without my doing anything at all. Wordpress magically brings me readers from search engines, its own tagging system and other bookmarking sites in a more efficient manner than Blogger ever did for me.
The only drawback is that on my current free Wordpress-hosted blog, I cannot customize my template or toy with the HTML. I am hoping to eventually host my Wordpress blog on another server so that I can bring back the Hot Pink theme and have my own domain name; however, this may not happen for months.
I suggest that you change your bookmarks to http://cinthia.wordpress.com because starting this weekend, I am going to gradually move over all of my posts from here to there.
I would like to make my official blog move coincide with the day of my move to my new apartment on October 14, 2006.
